The CARE badge campaign was launched in June 2019 to raise awareness and appreciation for those who care, and we were amongst some of the first to adopt and purchase the badge for our staff and volunteers.

The CARE™ badge is a unifying symbol of pride in our social care champions; those providing, receiving and supporting care. It is a clear demonstration of their pride in the quality work they do and our appreciation for the care and support we receive.

It is long overdue recognition for the two million people employed in care outside the NHS, as well as the seven million more unpaid carers across the UK.

We were really pleased to see that the CARE™ badge and the work of Care Workers across the UK was recognised by the Government during the Covid-19 pandemic.
