Remember us (legacy giving)
One way in which many people chose to give and make a difference is by remembering us in their will. Every gift in a will, no matter how large or how small is used locally to make a difference to the lives of people in need. Leaving a legacy will cost you nothing today, but it will make a real difference
to the quality of lives of future older people and young people.
There are different ways in which you can remember us such as a residuary legacy (a portion of what you own after your family or friends have received what you want to give them) or a pecuniary legacy (a fixed cash sum).
If you don't already have a will, you could use the following wording in your will:
For pecuniary bequests:
I give to Sir Josiah Mason Trust at Mason Court, Hillborough Road Olton, Birmingham B27 6PF (registered charity number 1179890) , the sum of £______ free of all taxes, for its charitable purposes, and I declare that the receipt of the Chief Executive or other authorised officer will be sufficient discharge to my executors.
For residuary bequests:
I give the residue or __% of my estate to the Sir Josiah Mason Trust at Mason Court, Hillborough Road, Birmingham B27 6PF (registered charity number 1179890) for its charitable purposes, and I declare that the receipt of the
Chief Executive or other authorised officer will be sufficient discharge to my executors.
